Sweet!

Is it really Friday again already?

Last weekend was a long weekend (my husband had off on Monday) so I guess this week went by faster. Can't say that's a bad thing!

Except that I didn't get to post much to my blog. Not much going on with the store right now, just quietly working on some designs. Hoping to add a couple things to the Designs for Birthdays section next week.

Anyway, here is the freebie for today!

It's a small size and it's in reverse for use on a baby onesie or hat. Hope you enjoy!

Freebie Friday - Celebrate!

Happy Freebie Friday everyone!

Since it's the 4th of July weekend here in the U.S., I thought a cute patriotic freebie would be appropriate.

Click HERE to access the download. I've included a large file, a smaller one, and a reverse of each.

Use it for whatever personal uses you would like. I think it would look cute on some matching family t-shirts for everyone to wear to a BBQ on Sunday. Let me know what you decide to use it for!

Some Monograms up in the shop now...

I've been busy working on some monogram designs. I made a monogram and used it for my own wedding and found it to be a great way to add a personal touch to my wedding and to coordinate all the little details.

Here are just a few examples of how I incorporated our monogram.

The first time our guests saw our monogram was on our Save The Date announcement. This is the back of the postcard we sent out. I also used it in a collage on the front of the card, along with our engagement pictures.

Then, of course, I followed up by using the monogram on the invitations. This is a picture of the one my mom put into a shadowbox for us. Doesn't it look great! Mom is so crafty, it's thanks to her that I love to create.

A friend of mine (my Matron of Honor, actually) got me the greatest gift. She had our monogram made into a stamp! And guess where she got it? Etsy of course! I just wish I had asked her what shop it was so I could link it for you. It was very well done and so useful. I stamped and embossed each of the envelopes.

The tables at our wedding were named after songs. We put the songs on a CD and gave each guest a CD with a song highlighted to show them their seat. In case you're thinking of doing this, I will tell you that the guests LOVED it! They tell me they listen to it all the time. And of course, our monogram is included on the back cover.

Check out our awesome wedding cake, with our monogram right on the top tier. The monogram wasn't perfect, but it still fit right in.

By the way, if you like our cake toppers, you can get your own in Nicole Clark's Etsy Shop. We LOVE them, she was great to work with and the guests were so impressed with them!

There were several other little things we used the monogram on, but I don't want to bore you too much. I just wanted to show some different ways they can be used and I hope that other brides get great use out of some of my designs.

See them in my shop HERE.
